May 12, 2015 (Xinhua) – The final match of the season will determine who will win the Premier League title after Arsenal defeated Manchester United 1-0 on Sunday afternoon. With the victory, Arsenal's goal differential now stands at three goals, one point clear of Manchester City at the top of the table. However, Manchester City still has two games left in the season. If Arsenal wins their final game, which is at home against Everton, then City would most likely need to win its next two games—away to Tottenham and at home to West Ham—to secure the championship. Leandro Trossard's strike in the 20th minute, which followed shoddy defending by Kai Havertz, gave Arsenal the lead.

Thirteen minutes in, Josko Gvardiol put City ahead, and an hour later, Phil Foden extended that advantage. Shortly after, Gvardiol scored his second goal of the game thanks to a mistake by Bernd Leno, and Julian Alvarez added a penalty to make it 4-0.
Pedro Porro and Micky van de Ven scored goals to help Tottenham defeat Burnley 2-1, sending the latter back to the Championship.
After 25 minutes, Jacob Bruun Larsen had given Burnley the lead. However, seven minutes later, Porro scored to give Tottenham a chance to finish in the top four, provided Aston Villa lost to Liverpool on Monday, who are no longer able to win the championship.
Following a 3-1 loss on the road to West Ham, who won the Championship, Luton Town will be joining Sheffield United and Burnley in the Championship.

Following Joel Veltman's goal from an 18th-minute corner to put Brighton ahead, Chelsea is now level with Newcastle United, who could only draw 1-1 at home to Brighton. Sean Longstaff's goal just before halftime closed the gap.

All three of Bournemouth's goals came in the final ten minutes of the match, leaving the game in the balance.

Brentford took the lead in the 86th minute thanks to a goal from Bryan Mbeumo. Dominik Solanke tied the score in the final minute of regulation time, but Yoane Wissa gave Brentford a slender advantage in the 95th minute.

Everton defeated Sheffield United, who had already been relegated, 1-0 at home thanks to a goal from Abdoulaye Doucoure in the first half. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace, under Oliver Glasner, is playing well. They defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 thanks to goals from Michael Olise, Jean-Philippe Mateta, and Eberechi Eze. Matheus Cunha scored the game's other goal.

It is already Arsenal's year, and the fact is that the conflict is raging and has not been separated until today.
